Jakha to Saruwas Thatch
Altitude: 3,261 m / 10,700 ft | Trek: 8 km (5-6 hrs)
Saruwas Thatch is a picturesque alpine meadow featuring verdant grasslands, seasonal wildflowers,
and stunning views of the Rupin River valley. It is one of the most beautiful campsites on the trek.

Saruwas Thatch to Dandreyash Thatch
Altitude: 3,550 m / 11,700 ft | Accommodation: Campsite
Dandreyash Thatch offers unparalleled views of the spectacular three-tiered Rupin Waterfall. This
vast alpine meadow is surrounded by majestic mountain peaks on all sides.
Day 5
Dandreyash Thatch to Upper Waterfall
Altitude: 4,050 m / 13,300 ft | Trek: 2 km (3-4 hrs)
Upper Waterfall Camp is one of the highest campsites. Located at the upper tier of the stunning
Rupin Waterfall system, it offers trekkers the unique experience of camping beside a powerful
high-altitude cascade.
Day 6
Upper Waterfall to Ronti Gad via Rupin Pass
Rupin Pass: 4,700 m / 15,350 ft | Trek: 12 km (10-11 hrs)
The most challenging and rewarding stretch. Cross the spectacular Rupin Pass (15,350 ft) involving a
steep climb through snow gullies and a sharp descent into the beautiful Ronti Gad meadows.
Day 7
Ronti Gad to Sangla & Drive to Shimla
Altitude Sangla: 2,650 m / 8,700 ft | Trek: 11 km (5-6 hrs)
A 10–12 km descent offering stunning views of the Kinner Kailash Range. The trail transitions from
alpine meadows into dense pine forests, eventually leading to the picturesque villages of Sangla.
